Tonight’s Lotto Jackpot is Worth £8.2 Million
Last Updated: Wednesday 10th September 2014, 12:17
UK Lotto fans, get ready - tonight’s double rollover jackpot is worth a breathtaking £8.2 million. The Lotto jackpot has rolled over twice, with the last winner picking up a £6.4 million prize on Saturday 30th August. No player was able to match all six main numbers drawn for Wednesday 3rd September or for Saturday 6th September, and so Lotto players are breathlessly waiting for Friday and hoping that their numbers have what it takes to scoop the jackpot. If they can pull it off, they’ll become the first Lotto winner of September.
While the jackpot may have gone unclaimed twice, there have still been some great prizes on offer for those who have taken a chance on the Lotto. There were 50 players in last Wednesday’s draw who snapped up a Lotto Raffle prize of £20,000 each, and Saturday’s draw saw 100 players pick up £20,000 each in the supplementary Lotto Raffle when the code on their ticket matched one of the winning codes drawn. Each rollover means that the number of Lotto Raffle winners for the next draw is increased by 50, and so tonight’s draw will feature a whopping 150 Lotto Raffle winners.
While £8.2 million may or may not put you on the next edition of the Rich List from The Sunday Times, it’s still a tidy sum of money that would change your life forever. You could buy a house, pick up a brand new sports car and even dish out a few charitable donations without making a significant dent in your newfound wealth.
If you think you can beat the odds and get your hands on a £8.2 million payday or even just a £20,000 prize, then make sure that you buy your tickets before sales close at 7:30 PM tonight. Tickets can be purchased via the Lottery Tickets tab or in person from an authorised retailer. Good luck!
