Tuesday Jackpot Rolls Again
Last Updated: Wednesday 12th March 2014, 11:31 am
The EuroMillions jackpot rolled for the third time in a row last night, which means that lottery players will have an estimated £107 million to play for in the next game this Friday 14 March. It isn't often that UK lottery fans get the chance to increase their bank balance by nine figures, so the stampede for tickets that we warned you about on Monday will probably continue for the rest of the week. Whether or not someone will manage to win the super-sized jackpot in the second draw of the week remains to be seen...
The main numbers drawn in Tuesday's £93 million game were 01, 04, 23, 33 and 44, and the Lucky Star numbers were 07 and 08. A second tier prize worth £250,798 was landed by each of five tickets that matched all five main numbers and one of the Lucky Stars, and another 11 tickets matched all of the main numbers without either of the Lucky Stars to win £37,999 each. 74 tickets won £2,824 each at the fourth tier prize level by matching four main numbers and both Lucky Stars.
There were more than 3.09 million consolation prizes won in total, and if you were to combine the value of all of the prizes landed by players in the UK, it would exceed £3.14 million. That isn't bad at all when you consider the fact that the jackpot rolled over and that the figure just quoted doesn't include the £1 million landed in the Millionaire Raffle game. Whilst we're on the topic of the raffle, the winning number on Tuesday was FYR837497, so well done to whoever happened to have the matching ticket.
We can now look forward to the £107 million triple rollover jackpot game this Friday, but we shouldn't forget that the Lotto game also has a very attractive jackpot of around £2.2 million for players to pursue this evening. Pay a visit to the Lottery Tickets page to enter your numbers and the midweek game just might make you a multi-millionaire before the night is over!
