Final UK Lotto Draw Before Changes

Last Updated: Tuesday 2nd July 2019, 10:35

The UK Lotto draw taking place tomorrow will be the last chance players will have to take part in the lottery in its current format before the eagerly anticipated changes come into effect on Saturday 5th October 2013.

The draw taking place tomorrow, Wednesday 2nd October, has an estimated jackpot of £2 million and is the last UK Lotto game which will cost £1 to play. Players who wish to buy tickets for tomorrow’s draw have until 19.30 GMT on Wednesday to do so.

At this point, ticket sales will be suspended overnight while lottery officials make the technical changes required for the new format and ticket sales will then resume on Thursday morning at the new cost of £2. Tickets cannot be purchased for the new Lotto until Thursday, so make sure you set a reminder to ensure you don’t miss out on playing in the Saturday draw.

The new style Lotto will be launched by a spectacular Saturday night show hosted by Chris Evans and includes a guaranteed jackpot of £10 million, a guaranteed 1,000 Lotto Raffle prizes worth £20,000 each and the first edition of the brand new television draw show, 49 to 1. All this is on top of the other changes, which include the increase of the Match 3 prize from £10 to £25 and the closure of the Lotto Plus 5 game, which has its final draw tonight.

However, you still have one last chance to become a UK Lotto millionaire for only £1 by playing in tomorrow night’s draw. So why not help the UK Lotto celebrate out with the old and in with the new by playing both games this week?
