Dream Number comes to an end

Last Updated: Friday 16th January 2015, 09:35

Lottery BallsIn the New Year, one of the favourite lottery draws calls time as Dream Number comes to an end on Wednesday, February 9th. There are just eight weeks left of Dream Number draws so if you play in advance, you will need to be aware of this. It’s been known for a while that the much-loved draw is coming to an end as it’s to be replaces by the Lotto Plus 5, at least temporarily, to raise money for the London 2012 Olympic Games.

The Dream Number has already raised a share of the £550 million raised for the games in recent months and so the Lotto Plus 5 will continue from that. We’ll bring you news of the Lotto Plus 5 closer to the launch but for now you do still have the Dream Number to play.

Dream Number is an extra draw that plays alongside the lottery draw, and winning it is dependent on you matching the serial number on your lottery ticket. If you do play Dream Number alongside the National Lottery then do be aware that Wednesday 9th February is the final Dream Number draw.

Of course there are still plenty of games to play with the National Lottery into the New Year, including the new Lotto Plus 5 draw. With Daily Play and Thunderball, in addition to the Lotto draw, UK Lottery players have always got something to play for and we hope you continue to play and enjoy the National Lottery’s games into 2011.
