Euromillions, the First of the Weekend Rollovers

It’s Friday and so the weekend is upon us, and this weekend is promising to be an exciting one, especially for lottery fans in the United Kingdom. Both the Euromillions Lottery and UK Lotto jackpots rolled over in their midweek draws and so tonight brings the £57 million Euromillions rollover draw, the first, and definitely the most exciting of the weekend lottery rollovers.
On Tuesday night, no one matched all the winning numbers in the Euromillions Lottery draw, although there was the £1 million Millionaire Raffle winner, and the one French player who scooped the entire 5+1 pot for being the only second tier winner. The jackpot itself however rolled over for the fifth time, which means a bumper lottery jackpot in the UK and across Europe this evening of £57 million. Players will be keenly tuning in later to hear the Euromillions results and we’ll also be keen to see if there’s a jackpot winner this week.
Then tomorrow evening, there’s a UK Lotto rollover up for grabs. This jackpot is nowhere near the level of the Euromillions, although it is a UK only draw, so the odds are certainly shorter too. After no jackpot winner in the Wednesday UK Lotto draw, tomorrow’s jackpot is an estimated £6.8 million, the first Lotto rollover in over a month.
It all rests with the winning numbers, and of course just how many people select them. Will the UK see some new Lotto millionaires this weekend? We certainly hope so.
