Euromillions jackpot hits nine figures

Everyone’s talking about the Euromillions and it’s little wonder as the ninth roll for the lottery means the Euromillions jackpot hits nine figures. Last night’s jackpot jumped by almost £10 million for the eighth rollover, which meant there was a £91 million jackpot up for grabs. However, no one matched all the winning numbers and that means the Euromillions jackpot for Friday’s draw will be worth an estimated £105 million!
Last night’s numbers did not prove so lucky for lottery players, as just 2.4 million players walked away with a prize. This is usually over three million for a rollover draw, but despite a high turnout, players just couldn’t match those winning Euromillions numbers.
In the UK, £2.8 million was paid out in prize money on the main Euromillions Lottery draw, yet no one in the UK matched either of the two top tier prizes. The jackpot rolled, and just three players matched five main balls and one lucky star; none of those were in the UK. The biggest UK prize winner on the main Euromillions draw matched just five main balls to collect £37,297 and of course there were plenty of smaller winners too.
The next Euromillions draw is on Friday night, and the ninth roll brings a nine-figure jackpot. It’s difficult to even imagine what you might do with £105 million, but you have a couple of days to do so once you have bought your Euromillions tickets for the draw. Don’t forget to check back for any winners’ news and the lottery results over the weekend!
