It’s been a week of exciting lottery news in the UK, with a brand new draw and lots more chances to win. However the excitement is set to continue as the Euromillions jackpot proves elusive to lottery players, creating a Euromillions rollover for next weekend. No one matched all the winning numbers in last night’s Euromillions draw, but there were lots of smaller winners so click here to see the lottery results or read on for all the news.
Ticket sales were high and the jackpot reached £12.7 million, but this will now roll over to next week, creating an estimated Euromillions rollover jackpot of around £25 million. But there were still plenty of big winners, and UK players fared particularly well in the draw.
Of the thirteen players to match five main balls and one lucky star, five were from the UK, each collecting £168,568. Three UK players matched five main balls to collect £77,735 and of course one lucky player matched the Millionaire Raffle number to collect a cool £1 million. In all, just over £5 million was paid out in lottery prizes, to UK players alone in last night’s draw. Not a bad total for a draw with no jackpot winner!
For UK players, the fun continues tonight with a UK Lotto jackpot worth an estimated £4.4 million, it’s also the start of the Lotto Plus 5 draw, which you can opt into for an extra £1 per line of lottery numbers. If you haven’t bought your lottery tickets yet then today is your last chance to do so, make sure you check back tonight for all the results and winners!
