A quadruple rollover for Lotto has resulted in a rolldown after no ticket holder could match all six main numbers drawn to win a £15 million jackpot. The five ticket holders in the next winning tier, Match 5 + Bonus, won £3 million each - a considerable sum when Christmas is just a week away!
The winning numbers were 2, 19, 24, 33, 35 and 46 with Bonus Ball 12. In addition to five big winners, there were 189 ticket holders who matched five main numbers to win £1,350 each. Another 10,438 participants grabbed £129 for matching four main numbers and 194,227 players matched three numbers to win the fixed prize of £25. The last time a Lotto jackpot rolled down was on Saturday 4th January of this year. When no player managed to match six numbers, the entire £13.4 million prize was rolled down to 23 players who matched five main numbers and the Bonus Ball. Each ticket holder in that prize tier walked away £585,596 richer; tonight’s top winners have picked up exponentially larger prizes!
