Lotto luck for Plus 5 players

Last Updated: Friday 16th January 2015, 09:28

Money PotLast week all eyes in the UK were on Friday’s Euromillions rollover but maybe we should have had our sights set closer to home. Last week we saw a Lotto luck for Plus 5 players in the UK as the jackpot was won not once but twice during the week. The Lotto Plus 5 is an extra draw playing alongside the main UK Lotto draw and it’s proving very lucky for players right now.

If you wish to play the Lotto Plus 5, then you just select the option when buying your lottery tickets and pay an extra £1 for each line of lottery numbers you wish to enter into the Lotto Plus 5. The draw plays every night there isn’t a Lotto draw, and is drawn in the same way as the Lotto draw, using your regular Lotto numbers.

Just like the Lotto there are several prize tiers on the Plus 5 draw, but last week two players hit the jackpot. The Lotto Plus 5 jackpot is a massive £250,000, so it’s little wonder it’s proving so popular with lottery players. That’s a life-changing amount of money but if you do buy tickets for the Lotto Plus 5 draw, make sure you check the winning numbers.

Our records show that two Lotto Plus 5 jackpots, both won on 11th March are unclaimed, each is worth £250,000 so if you live in the Slough or Doncaster area then it’s time to recheck your lottery tickets as you may be a lucky Lotto Plus 5 jackpot winner and not even know about it!
