Midweek Lotto Landed

The midweek Lotto jackpot of £7,063,265 was landed on Wednesday 7 September by a single winning ticket which matched all six main numbers. Those numbers were 04, 29, 31, 36, 38 and 48, and the Bonus Ball – which is only relevant for second-tier prize winners – was 35. That means that the next Lotto jackpot draw on Saturday 10 September will have an estimated value of £4.1 million. Of course, before we get to that Lotto game there is a massive £126 million jackpot to be won in the EuroMillions lottery on Friday 9 September.
In addition to the Lotto jackpot winner there were of course plenty of players who won themselves consolation prizes on Wednesday. Five of those winners matched five main numbers with the Bonus Ball and secured themselves a prize of £177,885 each. Another 206 players matched five main numbers without the Bonus Ball to win £2,698 each, which demonstrates just how much that Bonus Ball can be worth. 12,757 players won £95 each by matching four main numbers and 266,233 players matched three main numbers to win £10 each.
We had previously highlighted the fact that the midweek Irish Lotto game also had a rollover jackpot of around €7 million up for grabs. Unfortunately, no player matched all of the numbers required to win that top prize last night, so the next Irish Lotto jackpot this Saturday 10 September is heading towards the €8 million mark. For those of you who haven’t yet checked your Irish Lotto results, we can tell you that the winning numbers were 01, 02, 10, 12, 27 and 36, and the Bonus Ball was 11.
The next big question on everyone’s mind is whether or not the EuroMillions jackpot will be won this Friday. The ever-lengthening series of consecutive rollovers is beginning to feel a little like a thrill ride that has no end, but at some point the excitement will peak with a colossal payout, and if you buy your tickets online today it could be you who wins the current jackpot of £126 million!
Enjoy the ride and good luck!
