One Lotto Ticket Wins Double Rollover Jackpot

In Wednesday night’s Lotto draw there was a double rollover jackpot on offer to win so many players were crossing their fingers and hoping that they had the winning ticket. This was in fact the case for a Lotto player out there as one Lotto ticket matched all six of the numbers drawn in the results to win the double rollover jackpot. Although the identity of the ticket holder, or holders if purchase as part of syndicate, is yet to be known this ticket holder has now become £8.5 million better off thanks to the Lotto.
The Lotto results from Wednesday night’s draw were 4, 7, 12, 28, 32, 37 and the Bonus Ball was 14. Although there was just one jackpot winner there were 448 players that were one number away from winning the jackpot as they matched five numbers to win £1,044 however 13 of these matched the Bonus Ball as well so won the increased prize of £55,914.
Wednesday’s draw was the last Lotto draw for this month therefore for August there were a total of seven Lotto jackpot wins. Therefore we will have to wait and see whether this number has be surpassed in September.
As the Lotto jackpot was won it now means that tomorrow’s jackpot goes back to basics and as it is a Saturday the jackpot is estimated at £4 million. Therefore make sure you have your tickets read because you never know you could match the Lotto results and become the first jackpot winner in this lottery for September 2012.
