Scots Couple Strike Lucky and Win Lotto Jackpot

William and Allison McKenna, who are from Kilcreggan near Helensburgh matched the six numbers drawn in the Lotto on the 24th October to scoop the jackpot prize that was worth £1,187,959. William McKenna purchased his winning Lotto ticket on the Tuesday before the mid-week draw and then when he checked the Wednesday night Lotto results on the morning after the draw he couldn’t believe it and jumped up and down in his living room.

    William McKenna is a farm worker in Scotland who believes that after years and years of his early rises he has finally be rewarded with this jackpot win. He didn’t believe when he looked at the Lotto results from this draw so he had to go down to his local shop where he buys his Lotto tickets and get them to run it through the machine. It was only then that the news he was a millionaire began to sink in.

    The couple who have won little more than an Easter egg has been playing the Lotto every week and plan to spend their winnings on a new house and a new passport for William McKenna as his hasn’t been updated for the last 22 years – well done to this couple on their Lotto win, well deserving winners!
