Single double Lotto rollover winner

Last Updated: Tuesday 11th September 2018, 13:52

What a mouthful! A single double Lotto rollover winner, but that’s what it was. One single ticket holder walks away with the double Lotto rollover jackpot up for grabs in last night’s National Lottery draw. The estimated £10 million jackpot exceeded all expectations and came in at £11,178,334 and it wasn’t Merlin who choose the numbers last night. It was lottery machine Lancelot who proved lucky for the single ticketholder who walked away with the staggering prize.

It was the first National Lottery double rollover since May 12th but that was shared between two lottery players. Then back on 14th April four ticketholders shared a £16 million, triple rollover lottery jackpot. However, last night’s lottery jackpot was won by a single ticketholder making it the biggest National Lottery win of the year.

Maybe it was Lancelot who proved lucky for the lottery player, it’s the first time this lottery machine has been seen since 7th July as Merlin has been chosen every draw since then. Maybe the lottery results needed a shake up and this was just the way it was to happen.

You can check the numbers, winners and payouts on our lottery results page from last night’s National Lottery double rollover and don’t forget your lottery tickets for the weekend’s draws. On Friday night there’s a £12 million Euromillions jackpot up for grabs and then on Saturday a £4 million National Lottery jackpot!

Hopefully we’ll be able to bring you more details of the winning ticketholder’s identity in our lottery news later in the week but until then it just leaves us to say congratulations to the lucky winner and happy spending!
