Three Ticket Holders Share UK Lotto Jackpot

Last Updated: Friday 16th January 2015, 09:17

The UK Lotto’s midweek draw was won by three lucky ticket holders who each successfully matched all six main numbers. The top prize, which had rolled over from the previous Saturday, was worth an impressive £6.1 million so each ticket holder will walk away with over £2 million.

At the time of writing, none of these jackpot prizes have been claimed so if you played the UK National Lottery Wednesday, dig out your tickets now and check to see if you are one of those winners! The winning numbers were 5, 7, 20, 24, 30 and 41 with Bonus Ball 37.

As well as the three new millionaires, there were five players who correctly matched five main numbers and the Bonus Ball to win £126,582 each. Although these particular prizes are yet to be claimed, just yesterday a mum of three from Washington came forward to reveal she had won a Match 5 and the Bonus Ball prize from the Saturday draw.

Lynne Pittiglio and her husband, John, won £181,055 after the ticket they bought at a kiosk in the Gallery Shopping Centre came up trumps. The couple plan to revamp their home, take some family holidays and treat their grandchildren with their new found wealth.

If hearing about the Pittiglio’s good fortune has made you start day dreaming of how you would spend your lottery winnings, don’t forget to buy your ticket for Saturday’s draw! With an estimated jackpot of £3.6 million, Saturday is the last weekend draw of the UK Lotto costing £1 before the New Lotto is launched on Saturday 5th October 2013, so why not see if you can be one of the final £1 ticket millionaires?
