Tonight’s UK Lotto Jackpot Worth £7.6 million

Last Updated: Thursday 5th December 2013, 13:19

Tonight’s UK Lotto draw is a double rollover with an estimated jackpot of a staggering £7.6 million, the highest top prize since September 2012. Will anyone manage to scoop the prize tonight or will players be angling for a triple jackpot on Saturday?

Rollover jackpots occur when no player is able to match all six numbers to the winning numbers drawn. UK Lotto rules allow a maximum of four rollovers before the jackpot must be won and if no ticket has matched all six numbers on the fifth draw the top prize will roll down and be shared amongst the winners of the next prize tier.

The last quadruple rollover jackpot occurred in September 2012, when a jackpot of £19.6 million was eventually shared by five players who correctly matched all six numbers on Saturday 29th September 2012. Since then, the UK Lotto jackpot has seen a steady stream of jackpot winners, winning anything up to £6.9 million each.

All eyes will be on the results of tonight’s draw to see if the jackpot rolls for a third time, when it would likely top £10 million in time for the draw on Saturday. However, if you fancy stopping the rollover in its tracks and scooping that £7.6 million jackpot for yourself, you can buy your tickets online by visiting the Lottery Tickets page.

Remember, you can find the lotto results on our UK Lotto Results page shortly after the draw has taken place, with a prize breakdown available to view later that night. Good luck from all of us at National-Lottery.com!
