Two Christmas Day Lottery winners

Instead of the usual £4 million Saturday night Lotto jackpot, it was a lotto rollover, with a massive £7 million up for grabs. For players in last night’s draw, it was a real Christmas Day treat but for the two jackpot winners, all their Christmas’s come at once with each collecting over £3.5 million of the £7.1 million Christmas Lotto rollover jackpot.

The lottery machine used for the Lotto draw was Arthur, the same as Wednesday evening, set of balls numbers 2 also made another appearance. However, both proved luckier for lottery players than had done on Wednesday evening, as two players shared this jackpot.

It wasn’t just the jackpot winners who received a Christmas treat, another eight lottery players collected £178,000 for matching five main balls and the bonus, and in total over £16 million was paid out in last night’s draw. The Christmas Day Lotto draw wasn’t televised so if you haven’t checked your lottery numbers yet then it’s time to look at the National Lottery results and see if you were a Christmas Day winner.
