Two share the double lotto rollover

Last Updated: Wednesday 12th September 2018, 11:13

All eyes were on the UK Lotto double rollover last night and with an £11 million jackpot, it’s little wonder players were keen to hear the results. In the event, two shared the double lotto rollover, with each winner collecting over £5.5 million! It’s great news for the winners and as there were £18 million of prizes given away it’s clear to see that there were plenty of smaller winners too.

Merlin was the lottery machine used for last night’s UK Lotto double rollover draw and the set of balls was number 4. It’s been a while since Merlin has made an appearance and maybe that created luck for lottery players.

If you bought lottery tickets for the draw then check your numbers against our lottery results page now and see if you were a lucky winner. Two players shared the £11 million jackpot, giving them each a nice half share of over £5.5 million. Another six players came close by matching five main balls and the bonus ball and each of those will be celebrating winning over £174,000 right now.

The next UK Lotto draw will be held on Saturday evening and the estimated jackpot for that draw is £4.5 million, you can buy lottery tickets for that draw right now but before then something very exciting is happening.

Tomorrow it’s the Euromillions Lottery draw and that one also has a rollover jackpot up for grabs, it’s an estimated £86 million, more about that tomorrow!
