The midweek UK Lotto draw proved to be a success for one player when they won the £7.5 million jackpot after matching all six main numbers drawn. Wednesday’s top prize was the fourth largest UK Lotto top prize seen so far this year and the result of there being no jackpot winners in the previous two draws.
Information surrounding the latest UK Lotto jackpot winner has yet to be released and as UK Lotto rules state that jackpot winners have the option to remain anonymous, further details regarding Wednesday’s lucky winner will only be announced if they decide to go public.
In addition to the jackpot winner, over 131,000 players managed to secure a prize in Wednesday’s draw. Winners included one ticket holder who matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win £255,453 and 110 players who matched five main numbers to each win £1,971.
As there was a rollover jackpot at stake, the number of Lotto Raffle prizes increased to 100 which meant that 100 ticket holders each took home a £20,000 prize. The full list of winning codes from Wednesday’s draw can be found on the UK Lotto Results page.
Following this top tier win, the UK Lotto jackpot resets to an estimated £4.3 million for tomorrow night’s draw. So if you fancy following in the footsteps of Wednesday’s jackpot winner, make sure you participate in tomorrow night’s draw and you never know, you could be waking up on Sunday morning £4.3 million richer.
