UK Players report issues at Euromillions terminals

Last Updated: Monday 30th July 2018, 12:38

Have you checked the £121 million Euromillions numbers from last night’s draw? Two players shared the jackpot, neither from the UK, but many UK players were left disappointed as both lottery terminals across the country and online lottery processing systems crashed, preventing players from buying lottery tickets for the £121 miliion Euromillions draw way before the 7.30pm deadline.

Did you have problems buying lottery tickets? Many players opted to buy tickets way in advance but for those who choose yesterday evening to play, many were left disappointed. Lottery organisers have apologised to players who couldn’t get to by lottery tickets because of the error. If you were buying tickets at lottery terminals then many crashed just before the deadline for the draw, and then online lottery players found they couldn’t deposit into their lottery accounts as the National Lottery payment system crashed.

These problems just show why it pays to be organised and no leave ticket purchasing to the last minute, especially when there is such a big jackpot involved. In the event, two players shared the £121 million prize, one from Portugal, one from Belgium but there were plenty of UK winners too. In total, including the Millionaire Raffle, over £11 million was paid out to winners in last night’s Euromillions draw, so do check our lottery results page to see if you were one of the lucky winners!

Tonight’s UK Lotto may not be a six times rollover, but there is over £4 million up for grabs, good luck all those buying lottery tickets, don’t forget to check back for the lottery results!
