X Factor a Lottery

Two members of the pop group McFly believe you have more chance of winning the lotto than making it in the industry as an X Factor winner. The popular band members claim that the number of acts who have actually had a successful career as a result of the show is very low.
They say that although they do watch the X Factor and like the concept behind it, you actually have more chance of making it with your lottery tickets than to be one of the thousands and thousands of entrants who are put forward for the popular ITV show.
The band members believe that of all the acts that have gone through the X Factor and similar shows such as Popstars only Will Young, Leona Lewis and Girls Aloud have actually been successful. That’s just three people from fifteen series of the shows and the thousands of people that apply. It’s so tough in the music industry that you probably have more chance of changing your life with a lottery win than getting into the final.
The pair were interviewed as part of a new television show and their analogy to the lotto is an interesting one. Of course if you play the Euromillions Lottery tonight you won’t even need to be a pop star as hit those five numbers and two lucky stars and you’ll be £85 million richer anyway.
Who needs a music career when there’s that amount of lottery money up for grabs in tonight’s draw. Buy your lottery tickets here now and don’t miss out.
