£10.7 Million UK Lotto Rollover Jackpot

It’s been a while since we have seen the UK Lotto produce a jackpot to the value it is estimated to be for tomorrow night’s Lotto draw. Currently the estimated jackpot is £10.7 million but when the rollover happened on Saturday night the operators original estimated it would be just £9.7 million. Ticket sales over the last couple of days must have been quite substantial to add another million to the UK Lotto prize pool and it is quite possible that it could hit the £11 million mark by the time that the draw takes place on Wednesday evening.
Just two rollovers have produced this mammoth UK Lotto jackpot yet back in April 2011 it took three rollovers for the jackpot to hit £10.2 million – are we seeing a renewed interest in the UK Lotto?
Back in April, the first jackpot rolled on draw number 1595 making the following jackpot £6.7 million. Draw number 1596 also wasn’t won so rolled again to draw number 1597 were a jackpot of £10.2 was available. Again this wasn’t won and draw number 1598 held a jackpot of £16.3 million that was shared by four lucky winners.
However this time it has taken just two rollovers to produce and estimated jackpot of £10.7 million so it could well be that whilst players from the UK are rushing to buy Euromillions tickets for the five times rollover jackpot estimated at £64 million, they invest in a couple of UK Lotto tickets at the same time.
Remember you can check both the UK Lotto and Euromillions results on our dedicated pages where the numbers drawn and prize breakdowns appear shortly after the draw.
