Big Jackpots Won on EuroMillions and Lotto

The jackpots were brought toppling down on both EuroMillions and Lotto over the weekend as lucky players landed incredible prizes. A EuroMillions jackpot worth £66.4 million was given away on Friday 6th April, before a Lotto ticket holder won £9.5 million 24 hours later.
EuroMillions Results
The EuroMillions numbers drawn on Friday were 1, 29, 33, 45 and 47, with Lucky Stars 4 and 8. The jackpot was won by a player from Switzerland, but it was a great night for participants all over Europe as nearly 2 million prizes were snapped up in total.

The jackpot had previously been rolling for six successive draws, since a player from Portugal won a prize worth £54.6 million on Tuesday 13th March. It will now revert to £14 million for the next draw on Tuesday, but fans of the game can look forward to a special draw on Friday when 13 millionaires will be created, followed by a Superdraw on Friday 20th April.
Lotto Winner
Just a day after the EuroMillions jackpot was won, a Lotto player got their hands on a multimillion-pound prize after matching the numbers 1, 4, 31, 33, 52 and 55 on Saturday 7th April.

The Lotto jackpot has now been won six times since the start of the year, and the latest success ranks as the second-largest prize of 2018 behind the £18.1 million claimed by Dennis and Shirley Banfield on 17th February.
