Yesterday we brought you news of the French Euromillions Superdraw winner but now more details of the winner have emerged and it turns out that the winners are a fifteen strong syndicate who will now truly be sharing the wealth. The fifteen strong lottery syndicate are from a sleepy village in the South of France, a village we suspect isn’t very sleepy right now.
The Euromillions Superdraw was drawn on Friday evening and with €100 million up for grabs ticket sales were high for the draw. No doubt there were lots of syndicates too hoping to be able to share the massive jackpot between friends.
This dream came true for one lottery syndicate of fifteen friends from a Southern France village called Venelles, the village has a population of just 8,000 and is brimming with excitement today over the news that the largest Euromillions lottery prize ever won in France has gone to locals.
Euromillions officials confirmed today that the winning ticket had been bought in Southern France and would be shared among fifteen winners, although they could not provide details about the actual winners for security reasons.
The next Euromillions Lottery draw will be held on Friday evening and the jackpot for that draw is an estimated £13 million. You can buy lottery tickets for the draw from our pages right now and by playing online you get added security and the peace of mind that you need never miss another draw.
Congratulations from all of us at National-Lottery to the lucky winners, there’s nothing like sharing the wealth between friends!
