Four Jackpot Winners in Saturday’s UK Lotto Draw

Last Updated: Monday 16th June 2014, 13:01

Saturday’s UK Lotto draw was a resounding success after four players hit the jackpot and won £1.1 million each. The lucky ticket holders shared a £4.5 million prize pool and were joined on the night by 286,296 other winners who shared an additional £9 million prize pool.

In addition to the high number of jackpot winners, there was also an unusually number of winners in the second tier. A total of 12 ticket holders matched five main numbers plus the Bonus ball to win £29,907 each and there have only been three other draws so far this year with more winners in the second tier.

Following these winners, 214 players won £1,423 each for matching five main numbers while 145,331 ticket holders won £112 each for matching four main numbers. Finally, the lowest prize tier saw 271,739 players each win the fixed £25 prize when they matched just three main numbers.

In addition to the prizes in the main Lotto draw, a further 50 prizes of £20,000 were given out to players matching the codes in the Lotto Raffle game. To view the winning codes, visit the Lotto Results page.

As the UK Lotto’s top prize was won on Saturday, the jackpot value resets to an estimated £2.2 million for Wednesday’s draw. Last Wednesday’s draw saw one lucky player land a £7.5 million rollover prize so who’s to say you couldn’t be this week’s multi-million pound winner?
