One ticket holder has become the first Lotto jackpot winner of the month after scooping a magnificent £4.9 million in a draw that saw more than 169,000 players pick up prizes. Just over £10 million was paid out to winners in tonight’s main game, setting a high standard for the rest of the draws held this month.
The winning Lotto numbers are 2, 9, 27, 29, 33 and 40 with Bonus Ball 46. Another participant matched five main numbers and the Bonus Ball to grab £165,812, while 169 ticket holders won £833 each when they matched five main numbers. They were joined by another 8,913 players who matched four main numbers to win £83 each.
