Last Updated: Monday 30th January 2017, 09:44

Two lucky ticket holders matched all six main numbers in the Lotto draw on Saturday 28th January to split a jackpot of £8.7 million. Each player bagged a massive £4.3 million as a run of two rollovers came to an end, while over 1.4 million other participants picked up prizes.

The numbers drawn were 5, 21, 23, 34, 43 and 45 with Bonus Ball 20. As well as the jackpot winners, another player scooped £1 million in the Lotto Millionaire Raffle after matching the code PLUM 4147 5513. Check out the Lotto Results page for more information, including a full prize breakdown and details of the other 20 winning Lotto Raffle codes worth £20,000.

The Lotto jackpot had not previously been given away since Wednesday 18th January, when there were also two winners who split £12.2 million. All winners have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim prizes, and those lucky enough to land the jackpot can decide whether they wish to remain anonymous or go public with their news.

As the latest winners mull over how quickly to come forward and how to use their newfound wealth, another opportunity to grab a fortune lies just around the corner. Wednesday’s Lotto draw will offer a jackpot of £2 million, as well as a guaranteed Lotto Millionaire Raffle winner, and tickets can be bought online or from authorised retailers. Good luck!
