A single Lotto ticket holder scooped the jackpot on Wednesday 21st October, becoming the first person to match all six main numbers from the new ball pool of 59. The player picked up £14.6 million, the result of three rollovers since the overhaul came into force on Saturday 10th October.

The winning line was 13, 14, 21, 25, 51 and 53 with Bonus Ball 39 and other prizes won on the night in the main game ranged from a free Lotto Lucky Dip ticket for the 882,110 participants who matched two main numbers, up to£1,640 for the 43 players who matched five main numbers. There was one winner of £1 million in the Lotto Millionaire Raffle, who matched the code ROSE 3461 4218.

Wednesday’s winner has scooped the biggest jackpot of the year so far, beating the previous record of £14.1 million from Wednesday 28th January.  The top prize will now be worth £4.4 million on Saturday night, a life-changing sum that could banish the autumnal gloom in one fell swoop!
