Two Lotto Tickets Scoop £3.7 Million Jackpot

Two Lotto ticket holders were definitely celebrating over the weekend as the results from this lottery show that two Lotto tickets matched the six numbers drawn in the results to scoop the £3.7 million jackpot. These two winning ticket holders split the jackpot which meant that each winner took home just over £1.8 million.
The Lotto results from Saturday’s draw if you haven’t seen them already are 5, 9, 13, 16, 35, 39 and the Bonus Ball was 11. To add to the jackpot winners there were 14 ticket holders that matched five numbers along with the Bonus Ball to win the second tier Lotto prize which was worth £83,059. In addition to that 436 players matched five numbers to win £83,059 and then over 496,000 matched three numbers to win £10.
This draw was the sixth Lotto draw for this year and bar the first draw for January 2013 the Lotto jackpot has been won every draw. This means that now for five consecutive times in a row there have been Lotto jackpot winners in each draw which have matched the six numbers drawn in the results to win the jackpot, so it will be interesting to see whether this Lotto winning streak will carry on in this week’s draw.
