EuroMillions Boosted Superdraw Jackpot Won: 5 Runner-Ups in UK
Last Updated: Wednesday 10th December 2025, 16:45
Another massive EuroMillions jackpot, the 13th of the year, has been won by a single ticketholder in Belgium. Just in time for Christmas! Britain also picked up some significant wins though, so read on.
The Draw Results
On the night of the 9th, the winning numbers 2-8-13-29-49, and Lucky Stars 2-11 were the ones you wanted to match. One ticket in Belgium managed to match all seven numbers to take home the entire £124.6 million jackpot (€142.4 million). This win closely follows another massive jackpot win in France, where three draws prior, one ticket managed to land a whopping £156.6 million (€178.6 million).
Although there was only one winner, seven other tickets narrowly missed out on the grand prize, matching all the numbers bar one of the Lucky Stars. Five of these tickets were British, with the other two in France and Luxembourg. The Brits will be able to claim £74,535.80 each, while the Euro-users each get an equivalent €110,381.70. Not a bad haul!
How the Superdraw Boosted the Prize
Although the draw of the 9th wasn't itself a Superdraw, the grand prize had been massively boosted by one. The draw for the 5th of December saw the jackpot jump from its minimum value of £14 million straight to £114 million, thanks to the Superdraw, the third of the year. However, no players managed to win it, so it continued rolling up to £124 million on the 9th!
If you aren't familiar with Superdraws, these are a EuroMillions promotional event held three or four times each year, where a predetermined draw will have its jackpot boosted directly to €130 million regardless of the previous jackpot value. They're great at building hype for the game, and have even led to some record-breaking wins. For example, the €250 million (£209 million) EuroMillions jackpot cap was first reached in March 2025 off the back of a Superdraw!
EuroMillions Going Forward
For now, EuroMillions will continue as usual, with no further Superdraws or multinational events planned for this year. However, keep your eyes peeled for national lottery events; the National Lottery usually run special draws for the Holiday Season, such as draws with additional Millionaire Maker codes. More will be confirmed, no doubt, in the coming days!
