EuroMillions to Offer Ten Prizes of £1 Million on Friday 29th December
Last Updated: Friday 8th December 2017, 16:56 pm
EuroMillions fans will have the chance to play for ten prizes of £1 million on Friday 29th December. The special Millionaire Maker draw is being held to usher out the old year in style, with all ten prizes guaranteed to be won on the night.
Every so often, the National Lottery provides enhanced prizes for EuroMillions and Lotto draws. In October, there were 13 Millionaire Maker prizes paid out on Friday 13th to prove that date shouldn’t always be associated with bad luck.
The forthcoming draw will work along the same lines as a regular Millionaire Maker draw. All UK players have a code for the raffle generated when they buy a EuroMillions line, with more lines equalling more codes and a better chance of winning. On the night, ten codes rather than the usual two will be drawn, each providing its owner with a £1 million payday.
As only codes generated on tickets for that night’s draw are entered into the game, all ten will go to lucky players, as long as they remember to check their tickets before the end of the 180-day window for prize claims.
Lotto Christmas Raffle
In addition to the big EuroMillions draw, Lotto players have more awards to aim for a week earlier. On Saturday 23rd December, there will be 200 more £20,000 Lotto Millionaire Raffle prizes added to the prize fund, on top of the usual 20 awards of £20,000 and single prize of £1 million. Read more at the Lotto Events page.
Of course, there will still be multimillion-pound jackpots to play for in both games and, because the raffles are completely separate, you could win in the main draw and in the supplementary draw too! There are also big prizes to be won in the meantime and you can join in with the fun through the Lottery Tickets page. Good luck!
