Set For Life Tickets Set To Go On Sale

Tickets for the National Lottery’s first annuity-style game are to go on sale amid an advertising campaign which shows how you can ‘Make Every Month Amazing’. Set For Life will give you the chance to win £10,000 a month for 30 years, and organisers are confident that it will strike a chord with players who are looking for something a bit different.
‘Make Every Month Amazing’
The first Set For Life draw will take place on Monday 18th March, and you can take part from Friday 15th March at a cost of £1.50 per line. Unlike other games such as EuroMillions and Lotto which offer big, one-off jackpots, the top prizes in Set For Life will give you a guaranteed income.
The advantage of such annuity games is that there is no chance of you spending all your money at once if you win the jackpot. Even if you make some big purchases when you first win, you know that you will receive another £10,000 the next month and carry on getting paid until the 30-year period is over.
National Lottery operator Camelot hopes it will be particularly appealing to young players or those who do not usually take part in other games. The new marketing campaign, developed by creative agency adam&eveDDB, highlights just what winning Set For Life could do for you.
In the ‘Make Every Month Amazing’ advert, it shows how you could have a ‘monster January’, ‘launch into May’, ‘scorch through August’ or ‘make October a scream’. The campaign has already been rolled out across TV and on-demand channels, radio, social and in-store points of sale.

How To Win Set For Life
Set For Life requires you to pick five numbers from 1 to 47, plus one Life Ball from a separate set of 1 to 10. You must match all the winning numbers to pocket the top prize of £10,000 a month for 30 years. The odds of doing this are 1 in 15,339,390, better than the odds of winning the Lotto or EuroMillions jackpot.
The second prize is £10,000 a month for one year if you match all five main numbers without the Life Ball. There are six other ways to win which offer a one-off payout in a more conventional manner. You will be able to play from any authorised retailer or online once the game is launched on Friday. Draws will take place every Monday and Thursday evening.
