Triple Rollover for the EuroMillions

Last Updated: Tuesday 21st February 2012, 12:52

EuroMillionsLast night the Tuesday EuroMillions draw took place, and players from all of the participating countries were hoping to become the second jackpot winners of this month; however what did the results reveal? The results show that unfortunately there were no jackpot winners last night, so it is now a triple rollover for the EuroMillions. Even though no one did take home the top prize, there were over 1.9 million ticket holders that won one of the other 12 prizes last night.

The results in case you haven’t seen them already were 7, 12, 18, 33, 37 and the Lucky Stars were 1 and 11. The numbers drawn last night show that two of the most often picked out numbers which are 12 and 37 were drawn. To add to that one of the Lucky Stars, number 11 was selected last night, and this is one of the least often picked out Stars having only been drawn 12 times since it was introduced to the EuroMillions on the 10th May 2011.

Although no players were fortunate enough to win the jackpot last night, there were three ticket holders that took home the second tier prize by matching five numbers and one Lucky Star. To add to that in this Tuesday EuroMillions draw there were 2,128 players that matched four numbers to win £51.30/€76.50 and then nearly 90,000 players matched three numbers to take home £6.40/€9.60.

As no players have become jackpot winners since the 2nd December 2011 the top prize available to win is now estimated at £38/€46 million for Friday’s draw. With only two draws left until the UK EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle game makes an impressive 25 ticket holders millionaires before Christmas day, it will be interesting to see if this current jackpot will continue to rollover or whether any players will strike lucky in Friday’s EuroMillions draw.
