UK EuroMillions Player Scoops Superdraw Jackpot

Last Updated: Monday 3rd July 2017, 10:15

A UK EuroMillions player is £87.5 million richer after winning Friday night’s Superdraw jackpot. The top prize had been boosted to €100 million for the draw, and the ticket holder, who has yet to come forward with a claim, was the only participant to match all five main numbers and two Lucky Stars.

The winning numbers for the jackpot event on Friday 30th June were 17, 35, 39, 47 and 50 with Lucky Stars 6 and 8. A further two UK players were among the six ticket holders who banked £200,047 for matching five main numbers and one Lucky Star, with two Brits collecting £1 million each in Millionaire Maker. Superdraws are held on occasions throughout the year and offer boosted jackpots, no matter what happens in the previous draw. Friday’s was the first such event since 30th September 2016, when the top prize of £112.6 million (€130 million) rolled until 11th October and was claimed by a Belgian player who pocketed £153.3 million (€168 million). Friday marked the first time the top prize had been won on the night of a Superdraw since 6th March 2015. Take a look at the Superdraws page for more information on these special happenings.

The UK can now claim to be the most successful EuroMillions nation of 2017, with three jackpot winners hailing from these shores so far this calendar year. Belgium boasts two successes, with one winner each from France, Portugal, Spain and Ireland.

Tuesday’s EuroMillions jackpot is worth £14 million and you can choose your numbers online now. Good luck!
