One lucky player landed a sensational £51.7 million in the EuroMillions draw on Friday 28th July, becoming the UK’s fourth jackpot winner of 2017. Over 520,000 other UK ticket holders also picked up prizes, including a trio of participants who banked £1 million as part of Mega Week.
The winner of Friday 28th July's £51.7 million EuroMillions jackpot has now come forward to claim their prize. After it is verified, they can choose whether or not to go public, so keep an eye out for more information here soon.
The numbers drawn on Friday were 5, 9, 29, 31 and 41, with Lucky Stars 2 and 4. As well as the jackpot winner, the other prizes won spanned between £2.70 for matching two main numbers and £243,054 for matching five main numbers and the Lucky Star.
Take a look at the EuroMillions Results page for a full prize breakdown, as well as details of the winning Millionaire Maker codes. July’s Mega Week guaranteed that three lucky UK ticket holders would each receive £1 million, plus a dream trip to Florida.
The EuroMillions jackpot had rolled over for four successive draws prior to Friday night, having not been won since a Portuguese player bagged £15.1 million (€17 million) on Tuesday 11th July. The most recent UK success came in the Superdraw success on Friday 30th June, when an anonymous participant scooped £87.5 million.
The UK has won more EuroMillions jackpots this year than any of the other eight participating nations. One lucky player split £39.9 million with someone from Belgium on Valentine’s Day, before Beverley Doran from Shipley won £14.5 million in the next draw.
The latest winner has 180 days to come forward and collect their money, and National Lottery officials have urged everyone who played on Friday to check their tickets. The jackpot will now reset to £15 million for the next draw on Tuesday, and you can get involved by choosing numbers online or visiting any authorised retailer. Good luck!
