Last Updated: Monday 7th February 2022, 10:25

UK players have been urged to check their EuroMillions tickets after someone in the country won a jackpot of £109 million in Friday night’s Superdraw.

The numbers drawn on Friday 4th February were 3, 25, 38, 43 and 49, with Lucky Stars 3 and 7. There were lots of big winners across the participating countries, but the glory went to the UK as one ticket holder matched all the numbers. Go to the EuroMillions Results page for a full breakdown of all the prizes won.

No more information has yet been revealed about the winning ticket, as the wait begins for the lucky participant to come forward. There is a deadline of 180 days from the draw date for the winner to claim their reward..

You can use the EuroMillions Checker to help you find out quickly whether you have won. If you’ve landed a major prize, possibly even the jackpot, go to the How to Claim page for more information on what to do next.

Latest UK Superdraw Winner

Friday’s Superdraw was the first event of its kind this year, with the jackpot pushed up to €130 million (£109 million) from £52 million in the previous draw.

The money for Superdraws comes from the Reserve Fund, which receives a small portion of the prize fund in every draw. It is in place to make sure that the minimum jackpot of £14 million can always be offered, and so that special promotions can take place throughout the year.

There were four Superdraws last year, and one of those also featured a UK winner on the night. They came forward within 48 hours to claim a jackpot worth £111 million. Two of the other Superdraw jackpots in 2022 rolled all the way to the EuroMillions cap.

The UK has enjoyed a lot of other Superdraw success over the years, and in total has created 115 jackpot winners since EuroMillions started in 2004. The biggest of the lot was a £170 million prize that went to an anonymous ticket holder in October 2019.
