Summer EuroMillions Superdraw Set for Friday 7th June
Last Updated: Tuesday 30th April 2024, 13:49
The third EuroMillions Superdraw of 2024 has already been announced by lottery officials, and it will be held on Friday 7th June. There will be a guaranteed jackpot worth approximately £110 million.
The draw that will take place on Friday 7th June is a special one as an enhanced jackpot, also called Super Jackpot, will be on offer. This kind of draw is scheduled only a few times a year and the money comes from the Reserve Fund. A Superdraw will be carried out as a normal draw, the only difference being the much bigger jackpot.
The top prize can be won on the night or it can roll over until it reaches the €250 million (approximately £123 million) jackpot cap. After reaching the cap, if the jackpot is not won after three more rollovers, on the fifth consecutive draw a Must Be Won draw will be held. When this kind of draw occurs, the entire €250 million prize will be shared among the winners in the tier below.
Could the UK Win the Summer Superdraw Again?
Last year, the summer Superdraw held on Friday 2nd June had a £111 million jackpot and it was won by a single UK player on a first try. But that wasn’t the only time the summer Superdraw top prize was brought home in the UK. Brit players won the Superdraw jackpots held during summertime on a few other occasions as well, more specifically in June 2022, June 2021, June 2019, June 2017, and June 2015.
In total, the UK won 15 Super Jackpots, with the latest one having gone to a couple from Lancashire. They won half of the £123 million jackpot which was on offer on the Tuesday 30th January Superdraw.
